Our story is woven into the history of Namibia. Founded in Windhoek in 1906 by Wilhelm Meyer, our practice began as a dedicated pursuit of precision. Acquired by A.G.J. Hübner in 1939, the business transitioned in 1986 under second-generation optometrist K.W.F. Hübner into a highly specialised clinic.
Today, led by partners Roy Hermanus and Arne Schmid, W Meyer Optometrists represents the pinnacle of professional eye care in the SADC region. We do not believe in mass-market solutions. For 120 years, we have protected the vision of families and leaders through highly personalised consultations, medical excellence, and a passion for craftsmanship.
